Courtney returned to school after the summer break and was called to her Spanish teachers class and presented with a copy of the Da Vinci Code in Spanish!
This was her prize from the Spanish Ministry of Education for achieving excellence in Spanish. Her teacher explained that the school pick their own prizewinners for Spanish based on prelim marks but this award is selected by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
Courtney was so chuffed! Another feather in her cap!
Note: She hates the book the Da Vinci Code so I guess it will gather dust, in a nice way, in her book collection!
