THE Youth Arts and Literary Guild are presenting, for the third year, Artwork from the High Schools of North Lanarkshire in Sir John Wilson Town Hall, Airdrie.
The festival is being held on Monday, February 16, and Tuesday, February 17, from 10am until 9.30pm, with an evening reception each evening at 7pm.
The standard of work presented by the pupils in the last two years has been of a high quality and this year is bound to be no exception.
Artist Frank To and students from Glasgow School of Art will also speak at the event and all are welcome to come along.
Courtney had her standard grade exam piece on display which we went to see last night at this exhibition. Lewis, her boyfriend, also had his exam piece on display too.
Frank To was there to talk to the kids and had some of his own artwork on display. Some famous people have started to collect his artwork including Patrick Stewart, from Star Trek and X-Men 1,2 and 3 fame.
